# Rights and reuse boundary

The separate original excerpt is from OpenAI's official-channel film
*Build and share apps in Codex*, published June 2, 2026. Attribution is in
`study.json`. Copyright remains with its owner. The retained download metadata
does not grant a redistribution or reuse license. Its presence here is for the
requested comparative editing research; permission is not established by this
package. Do not use the original footage, branding or demo data in an all-hands
presentation. Publication decisions remain with the parent/user.

The remake contains no source image, raster trace, screen recording, logo,
audio or AI-generated asset. It is made from code, four authored paths and live
text. The reference variant repeats the short studied phrase for comparison;
the adaptation supplies different wording. Color, font choice, path contours
and natural-width spacing are production choices, not official OpenAI specifications.

`public/fonts/DMSans.ttf` is the unmodified DM Sans variable font from the
Google Fonts repository, pinned to commit
`5b35b7208dd4100571326fdf37f030b32a524232`. Its SIL Open Font License 1.1 is
bundled as `public/fonts/OFL.txt`, including the authors' copyright notice.
`public/fonts/provenance.json` records exact upstream URLs and file hashes.
No unknown-licensed OpenAI font has been copied. This licensed substitute has
different outlines and a deliberately wider line; it is not source-exact.

The earlier toolkit's frame-derived research and punctuation construction
informed this revision. Review status is not inherited as an approval.
No permission or license claim is made for other source assets.
